EKU Aviation Grads Play Key Roles in National Award-Winning Program

Two Eastern Kentucky University aviation graduates were instrumental in the establishment of a national award-winning aviation education program.

Sean Howard, who earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation from EKU in 1997 and an MBA degree from EKU three years later, and Paige Hankla, a May 2007 graduate, were recognized for their contributions when the Kentucky Aviation Teacher Institute received the 2007 National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) Center Aviation Educational Program Award.
