Burgin and Willett Awarded $2,000 AAAE Scholarships

Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Business and Technology congratulates students Christopher Burgin and Holden Willett as this year's AAAE scholarship recipients.

Burgin and Willett were each awarded a $2,000 scholarship this month from the Southeastern Manager’s Association of the South East Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives. To apply for the scholarship, a student must have been a junior or above in academic standing and hold a 3.0 or above GPA.

Burgin, from Richmond, and Willett, from Bardstown, are seniors majoring in Aerospace Management. Both plan to pursue graduate degrees after graduation.

All applicants must meet eligibility requirements and be enrolled as full-time aviation majors at one of the eleven designated South East Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executive partner schools.

The SAMA AAAE Scholarship Program was established by SAMA AAAE to reward the academic achievements of students who are pursuing a career in Aviation.

All phases of the SAMA AAAE Scholarship Program are managed by Scholarship Managers (SM).  SM is an international not for profit scholarship service organization with extensive experience in the design and management of scholarship programs.
