AirMart Offers EKU Students Aviation Scholarships

Adam and Nathan, like other Eastern Kentucky University Aviation students, have the dream to be part of the aviation industry. The cost of college itself can generate a financial burden. If you combine that with flight training, it would be almost impossible without scholarships. EKU offers the only part 141 Aviation program in the state of Kentucky.

Freeman Named 2021 Distinguished Senior for College of Business and Technology


Joseph “Emmet” Freeman has been named the Distinguished Senior for the EKU College of Business and Technology for the Class of 2021. Freeman, who will graduate in May with a B.S. in Aviation and dual concentrations in Professional Flight and Aerospace Management, received the award after a unanimous nomination from the Aviation Program faculty.

EKU Aviation Receives Award for Virtual Training Excellence


The Aviation Program at Eastern Kentucky University was recently presented with the “2020 Award for Training Excellence” by Digicast, a virtual aviation training platform of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
