EKU Aviation students visited the world's largest package delivery company - Louisville hub - on Friday, April 22. Seventeen students toured the facility and received a briefing about the UPS Worldport operation before being separated into two groups.
The Henry Martin Scholarship, a $500 cash award, was presented to Mr. Tony L. Hoskins at the Eastern Kentucky University Scholars Day Assembly on Friday, April 15, 2016. Hoskins, a senior non-traditional student from Richmond, Ky., majoring in Aerospace Technology and Aviation Professional Flight, was also inducted into the Society at a formal ceremony later that afternoon.
The Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots offers Scholarship Opportunities for aviation students. Scholarship applications for this year's program are now being accepted.
