American Association of Airport Executives at EKU
As the world’s largest professional organization for airport professionals, AAAE represents thousands of personnel at public-use airports nationwide and helps these professionals fulfill their responsibilities to a variety of airport and community constituencies. AAAE at EKU participates in tours, hosts guest speakers, and attends both regional and national conferences regularly. A variety of scholarship opportunities are also available for student members.

Scholarships
2020 SAMA/SEC-AAAE Scholarship
Applicants for the SAMA Scholarship must be a United States citizen, be at least a junior (60+ earned credit hours), have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have a primary or dual concentration in Aerospace Management. Preference is given to academic members of AAAE Student Chapters.
AAAE Adademic Update Meetings
The AAAE Academic Relations Committee has set up a monthly meeting to benefit student chapters and Academic members from around the U.S. during the pandemic.
