Harp Named 2014-15 Flight Instructor of the Year
EKU Aviation is pleased to announce Captain Gary Harp Braniff Airlines (Ret) as Flight Instructor of the Year for 2014-2015. Director of Aviation, Ralph Gibbs, announced the award at the monthly flight instructor meeting on August 6. This award is given for exemplary performance toward the EKU Aviation program.
Harp, from Georgetown, was selected for "exceptionally loyal service to EKU Aviation, going beyond any imaginable expectation of dedication from a part-time flight instructor." He was honored for his selfless dedication and sharing the timeless wisdom learned in flight decks flying around the world and across the United States with the next and newest generation of aviator. Gibbs personally thanked him for 'polishing' EKU flight students into the "finest generation of professional aviators, ever."
