EKU Aerospace Management student to participate in SEC-AAAE Internship Program

Eastern’s own Hannah Clayton, aerospace management senior from Taylorsville, Ky., is one of only four students selected to participate in this year's American Association of Airport Executives' Southern Chapter (AAAE-SEC) Internship Program.

The AAAE-SEC has selected the Airport Operations Internship Program (a partnership between Blue Grass Airport, the EKU Aviation Program, and the EKU Career & Co-Op Office) as one of only four programs in this part of the country to participate in this 10-week internship program.

Selection into this program not only gives the intern national exposure, but also allows the airport to receive funds through grant allocation to supplement the costs of paying the interns and other associated expenses. This equates to a dollar-for-dollar match toward the cost of having an intern at the airport.
