Aviation Course Fees

Fall 2011 Professional Flight Course Fees

Flight fees are based on estimated usage of instructor time and planes. At course end, final charges are adjusted to actual usage and may result in refunds or additional charges.

AVN 194A - Private Pilot $7,750
AVN 220A - Instrument Pilot: Flight $6,800
   
AVN 205A - Intermediate Supervised Flight I $3,000
AVN 206A - Intermediate Supervised Flight II $2,975
AVN 229A - Advanced Supervised Flight I $4,350
AVN 230A - Advanced Supervised Flight II $4,850
Courses are designed to provide pro-flight students with time building and real world experience.
Activities include high altitude training, field trips, long distance flying, and multi-engine time building.
   
AVN 300A - Commercial Pilot: Flight $4,350
AVN 310A - Flight Training Techniques I (CFI) $3,400
AVN 320A - Flight Training Techniques II (CFII) $3,475
AVN 400A - Multi-Engine Pilot: Flight (Commercial) $4,525

Requirements for being released to fly at the Madison County Airport include:
  • Register for course
  • Payment of course fees
  • Proof of medical certificate
  • Proof of flight insurance (Avemco or AOPA)
  • Original birth certificate
